Ron Scott

Ron was born in the small town of Oxford, Florida. He started singing at the age of 15 in the choir and in a group at his local church. In the year of 1970, Ron organized a southern gospel music quartet called The Singing Reps. He was on the road for 20 years with this group. After retiring from this group, Ron sung with Reverence Quartet from his hometown for about 5 years. Ron retired from traveling and served as Minister Music and Associate Pastor. Ron has shared the stage with groups such as The Cathedrals, The Florida Boys, The Happy Goodmans, The Hinsons, The Inspirations, Gold City, Heaven Bound, and many more. He is a songwriter and a recording artist. He has appeared on several Christian TV stations. Ron felt the call to go back on the road traveling to minister both in singing and preaching in 2012. This is when he joined Simple Faith Music Ministries as their Bass singer. His wife Mary also joined Simple Faith to play the piano and later became their Tenor singer where she served until God called her home in February 2021. Ron has been singing and ministering the Gospel for over 62 years. He has always had the desire to use his talents to up lift Jesus and share the message of the Cross-wherever God opens the door. After Mary’s death, the Lord sent a wonderful Christian lady Audrey which became his wife. Ron relocated close to his hometown of Oxford FL. He and his wife Audrey reside in Belleview, FL.
